P+R Kralingse Zoom
his car park has been designed with future proofing in mind and the option to further expand to a total capacity of 2.200 parking bays. Together with Zwarts & Jansma Architects, Ballast Nedam developed and constructed a 180m long steel and precast concrete car park matching the curvature of the A16 motorway running adjacent. The top three levels were covered with aluminum fins which complement the eyecatching design.

Clear signage and wayfinding
Rotterdam is a city renowned for its architectural buildings and this one is no exception! Internally, special attention was paid to develop optimum one-way vehicle routing with clear signage and wayfinding to enhance both user experience and safety. By design, the structure is natural light and ventilated and provides a vital service in keeping the city streets free unnecessary vehicles.
