Working closely with the client, Ballast Nedam Parking offered a turnkey solution from RIBA Stage 01 to Stage 06. All planning and building regulations related items were completed inhouse saving the client significant additional costs.

The project was delivered with a keen eye on both price and programme, working to a clear brief to supply a robust and user-friendly solution that requires minimul ongoing maintenance. 

Project details

Brief: To design and construct a new deck car park structure over an existing surface car park.
Client:Tunbridge Wells & Maidstone NHS Trust
Construction Period: 8 weeks construction of substructure, steel frame and concrete planks. M&E additional.
Configuration: Circa 410 parking bays. (GF +1)

Programme and budget maintained

During the later stages of construction, the Covid 19 outbreak threatened to hamper progress, but our adapted safe systems of working and outstanding site team ensured both programme and budget were maintained.
