Able to adapt our system build to achieve the most efficient outcome

Colchester General Hospital

Working to the strictest of timescales, Ballast Nedam Parking offered a turnkey solution working to the planning permission submitted by the client. We were able to adapt our system build to achieve the most efficient outcome.Due to the site’s proximity to a neighbouring school and residential properties, the structure was clad in Redwood for privacy and to present a pleasing aesthetic.

The scheme, that has doubled capacity, will provide vital additional parking for both staff and
visitors. During the later stages of construction, the Covid 19 outbreak threatened to hamper progress, but our adapted safe systems of working and our outstanding site team ensured both programme and budget were maintained.
